Aberdare Higher Standard Schools

The school was designed by the Aberdare architect Thomas Roderick.
It was originally two schools, one for boys and one for girls, separated by
a central fence, seen near the tower.
The fence has been removed but the fixing points for it can still be seen on the tower (2011).
