Lyn Evans’ visit to a sixth-form physics lesson, Wednesday April 29th, 2009
Lyn Evans and physics teacher James Thomas with boys investigating the resistivity
of a metal
Lyn told the boys that the established basic physics they were learning on that day
was still relevant even though
his work centres around modern theories in particle physics and cosmology.
Ohm's Law is still used in magnet design!
BBC Wales was at the school and interviewed Lyn as well as the boys. Here the cameraman
John Foakes is getting ready for the reporter
Kate Scott-Williams to give the ‘piece to camera’. You can see the TV report
